The American Women For Peace ha been cited as " An advanced wave to establish a beachhead for other left wing organizations scheduled to descend on Washington, D.C., in observation of a Communist declared peace week", in Congressional Committee on Un-American Activities house report #378 on the Communist Peace Offensive, original dated April 1, 1951.

The Communist Party has been cited as coming within the purview of Executive Order #10450 issued by the Attorney General of the United States.
