From forthright action to highlight injustice, to educational exercises that compel self-evaluation and awareness, you have made a difference for the better in all our lives. You have my heartfelt appreciation for all that you have done. Although I am unable to be with you on Friday, I hope it will be a very special day for you as your lifetime of accomplishment is recognized through the presentation of the Urban Trailblazer's Award.
