Jamie Dandridge did 6 mounths in High school in Fort Madison Russell Dandridge did 2 years in High School in Keokuk IA the rest only Country grade school some time the Dandridge Children would Have trouble with the white Children thay would Have fights and the white Familys would Come to Matilda and say school is goeing to start must we let the Children settle it and fight it out or must we settle Matilda All Ways Said to them what Ever Way you Want it. if thay said let the Children settle it Matilda would tell Her Children now you are starting to school
