PM Dec 30, 1918 Conger dearest,-- If I don't have some letters from you soon I'm going to bust! It's been a hundred years since the last ones, and every time I see any of the family they ask, "Any news from the Hubby?" to which I must always reply in the negative. Darlin' aren't you writing to me no mo'? In one of your last you mention sending another check for one hundred.
