When a sunbeam fell across the boar And I read the name on her prow, I smiled to see they remembered me -- For my name was with them now. Sail on, little boat of the white and the green Be faithful and staunch and true; May the winds and waves be tempered aright And fair weather be ever for you. Sail oh, life-bark-with these two precious lives- Down many a sun-lighted stream, May the clouds be few in your skies of blue. And your life like a beautiful dream.
