10 middle to vary most in the medium sized specimens. The hind too varies least in the smallest birds. The line representing the length of [illegible] is with one exception a straight line until the largest birds are reached where it becomes broken. The longest wing is seen to be accompanied by a shorter tail and hind too, and by an [illegible] [illegible] and middle too. In no. 14 the shortest wing is accompanied by the longest tail, the hind too lengthening, the [illegible] and middle too being shorter. A similar relation of parts exists in the third specimen. In general the wing and tail shown no correlation whatever. The [tarsus?] and middle too vary together with but three exceptions, the hind [illegible] varies independently of both. None of the lines rise with that of the tail and that only slight by. The correlation of parts is not great, it tends to increase in the largest specimens rather than in those of average size.
