Reference to the table will show that the [illegible] bird varies least in length extent. This result [is] of course largely due to the small number of birds taken which must exclude them from a [comparative?] study. The quail varies elastin wing middle toe and length of calmed. The owl varying least in length of tail and depth of calmed. The goose varies most in all measurement except [illegible] of the tail in which the quail ([illegible] to shedding thus causing under measurements)
