Beak of ventral valve extended, somewhat incurved, with circular foramen in its extremity. Beak of dorsal valve incurved to hinge line. Hinge area of ventral valve almost as high as wide, triangular concave. Surface of both valves marked by fourteen or fifteen distinct plications which are entire from beak to margin. Geol.
