     Size medium, outline ovate, cephalic shield almost twice as wide as long, slightly convex, straight along posterior margin curving into posterior lateral angles which terminate in spines extending along the thorax. Gabella distinct, well rounded, as wide in front as posteriorly; posterior lateral lobes of glabella three in number but not well defined in some specimens. Cervical segment well marked both on the posterior portion of and along the posterior border of cheeks. Facial suture indistinct or obsolete, so that the division of the fixed and movable cheeks is
