P. C 10/14/70 Presss-Citizen 10/14/70 Bomb Threat Against Two UI Buildings University Security officers evacuated two University of iowa buildings early this morning after they received a report that bombs had been planted in the buildings. Director of Security William Binney declined to identify the buildings, but said they were not structuresz used by students. He said his department received the report from radio station KXIC, where an unidentified male telephoned about 7 a.m. and said the bombs were in the buildings. The station was told that the "threat was not slanted toward students but toward workers," Binney said. University Security officers, aided by employes at the two buildings, searched the structures, but found nothing, Binney said.
