PM May 1, 1919 My Very Own, Just finished reading your letter dated April 14th, and this is the twenty seventh. I'm so sorry you've not been hearing from us but the fault is not altogether here. Several of our letters to you have been returned to us from the Lauriston address. Of course I haven't used that one in quite a while, but I feel sure you've had mail because you've not cabled, as you threatened. My Sweetheart, it is too hard to be so far from you now! I have always wanted you, ----- since I first gave my whole love to you but these last few weeks have been awful! I know that it isn't right for us to be apart so long. I suppose seeing all them boys in uniforms coming home ---- oh, I can't even think of it!
