Page 5 Soon after, the dwelling's owners, seven little bald and bearded men, return. Their names prove to be Doc, Grumpy, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Bashful, and Dopey (who doesn't talk "'cause he never tried!"). They soon find themselves quite in love with Snow White. Nevertheless, the queen meanwhile has found that she has been tricked with a pig's heart, and disguises herself as an old peddlar woman. Carrying a poisoned appel she sets off. One bite and the little princess falls dead to the floor. She is not really dead, but only held in the spell of the magic "Sleeping Death" from which she can only be awakened by love's first kiss. The dwarfs, summoned by friendly animals give chase to the wicked queen, and she toppels to her death from a rocky ledge. So beautiful, even in death , that the little men could not bring themselves to bury her, Snow White is placed in a gold and glass casket in the forest. Fall and winter pass and spring comes again. With it comes the prince who gently kisses Snow White, breaking the spell. Then they ride off into the sunset to find the castle of their dreams. ######################### ### DID YOU KNOW ? ### ######################### That "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is the only picture LIBERTY magazine has given four stars to in the last six months . . . .
