Fri Jan 9 A lovely warm sunshiny day I went to visit (illegible) this afternoon took her a mess of sausage & a piece of beef Mother wove all day Bill went to Johny Crafts (illegible) a hog father was at Linies took stuart Coventry Jim went to bobs Wallace was at school this fornoon I pieced one of my pillows made it larger sat Jan 10 no sunshine until about 4 oclock in the afternoon but not cold I (illegible) made a pare of pillow cases went down to Allies & home (?) of them in the afternoon Lena Hoffer is here to night sun Jan 11 A gloomy day cloudy no sunshine all day not very cold Will took Lena home this afternoon
