Tues Feb 3 A blustery & very cold day the coldest has been this winter I finished my rug to day & scrubed sewed some lace on my apron Jim is down to Wilders Will Lint & Wallace is reading wig was here this fornoon Wed Feb 4 A very cold day Will went to Elgin to mill I have been reading the book woman against woman finished it this eve & a bass story wig & John Johnston was here a while this eve Th Feb 5 A nice warm day I washed and the close got dry I scrubed ironed some & finished 2 pare of pillow cases Bill and Jim chopped wood father & Wallace took Morts flour home and got some more buck wheat
