Wed March 4 it has been real nice and warm to day the sunshine warm & bright I washed & scrubed the men are splitting wood Allie came up this Eve & stayed until 11 oclock the 2 Johnes & Bill & Jim went to John Kohler to play sinch Th March 5 it has been real cold to day but bright Lintha & I have been busy making a rug Bill Goring came after mother this Eve I guess there will be a tea party down there to night Linie has a nine lb girl born at 8 oclock this eve Fremont & Luther Shaffer was here this Eve Fri March 6 it snowed hard this afternoon but not cold Father went to see his new grandatter to day Allie J was here all after noon I finished my rug (rest illegible)
