sat July 11 A nice day but pretty hot Linie & babies was here this afternoon Linie & I went & gathered her some gooseberries mother went to C (illegible) to a tea party to night sun July 12 A nice day quite windy father Mother & I went to Old Mr Freys visiting Old Mr Mort Klingman & family came after we got there we all drank wine & had a (illegible) time we all went to see a game of ball but did not stay long we took there carpet to them mon July 13 A nice day I churned baked bread picked & caned 1 qt raspberries picked currents for jellie & Mother came home & went back agan with Fred John I helped hay Tues July 14 A cool cloudy day & a little shower of rain once in a while I washed
