Th sept 3 A real nice day but affal cold this morning I have been all alone all day since 7 oclock this morning the folks all went to the fair Iam all the person on the road all day I made some jellie canned plumbs & apples Linies dog has been here all day Fri sept 4 A real nice day we finished making apple butter I put down a milk can of plumbs for Linie Hattie Johnston & Maggie Goring was here this afternoon John L helped us stack hay to day West Union fair Ended to day sat sept 5 real cool this morning tried to rain but this afternoon turned warmer father & I went to Elgin this fornoon I scrubed blacked the stove & helped dig the Early potatoes & am going to Linies to night sun sept 6
