baked bread & a jell cake Fred brought our molasses home Al John & Wig was here we had chicken for dinner good night Monday Oct 12 A nice day I washed ironed some & scrubed picked ground cherries going over to Linies this eve to stay all night with her Tuesday Oct 13 it rained some this morning Lina & I went to gather hickory nuts this fornoon dident get many Mort took the team this afternoon Lina Jimmie Perl & I all went in the timber & gathered butternuts & wallnuts got 7 or 8 bushel & I am affal tiard I came home from Linies this eve most dark Wednesday Oct 14 A very cold & windy day mother went to Wadena this fornoon with John Johnston I ironed we are making plumb butter Hattie Al Johnston was here this morning father is making our loam house
