sun Nov 15 A stormy day rained hard took the snow all of us was all home all day I read a love story which was which as the mysterious twins Mon Nov 16 it has been a cold windy day this cold snap has catched most every one with their britches down lots of corn to husk I washed moped the wind is blowing hard & cold my clothes blew down & got all dirt I had to hen of a time Tues Nov 17 A very very cold windy day no corn husked to day (by?) is froze pretty hard the men are making a calf shed to day we have lots of corn to get out yet the wind has gone down this eve Wed Nov 18 very cold & frosty this morning got warmer this afternoon I husked corn this afternoon
