Wed Dec 9 A nice day the roads are turiable rough & has been for some time we got our cattle all dehorned this morning we cleaned Mothers & the boys room to day Bill went to Ransons saw mill Mother & I cleaned the front poarch this afternoon went to see Meriah Shaffer a few minutes she is cleaning her house to move in Th Dec 10 A lovely day warm & sunshiny all day Linie left the children with Mother & me while she went to Elgin Hen Conners house burned early this morning before day light Bill went over to Morts this eve Fri Dec 11 A lovely day warm & sunshiny Mother went to Mrs Gorings I sewed on my dress John J & John M was here this eve
