Wed Jan 1 1902 another year has come & gone I am still a living & well standing in front of my bureau in my room god only knows where I will be a year from to night this has been a chilly day chilly wind but bright sleighing all gone roads good so smooth Father Mother & I was alone all day churned almost all day & dident get butter we just came from Ashelemans we spent the evening there Th Jan 2 A very cold windy day wind high we churned this forenoon I dident get any butter yet to bad Fri Jan 3 A nice bright day not so cold Mr Ashelman and Hurvey was here this eve a while Mrs A called this afternoon we churned some more this morning dident get butter threw it away
