Tues apri 22 this has been a fearful day the wind & dust blew so the sky looked frightful the wind is still high at 8 oclock to night I washed dident hang the clothes I painted some Mother made some more gardin Father was at Charley & John Mingers to day hunting potatoes Wallace halled lumber wed apri 23 A windy day froze ice last night is cold this eve Lizzie came over & helped us paper to day Ashelmans folks & Mrs Bigler was here this eve th apri 24 the wind dident blow to day was chilly froze Ice last night we got our room all papered and put to right Wallace took Lizzie home Wallace got 5 bushel potatoes from John Minger paid one dollar a bushel for them
