Fri apri 25 we had a nice rain this morning we neaded so bad I ironed cleaned the pantry shelves washed all the dishes Father Mother & I called at Peter sat apri 26 a cold windy day the wind blew fearful last night rained & blew & beat in under the windows this morning we have 10 little chickens a little calf came yesterday sun apri 27 A real nice day I went to sunday school & church we had frost last night I am tired & sleepy mon apri 28 A nice day I washed Rev Kirch came this eve for the night Nora Patterson called this afternoon we have to weave her a carpet Tues apri 29 A chilly day don't seem to get warm this spring every thing
