Tues May 13 A nice day I did a large washing everything looks nice apple & plumb trees are full of blooms grass is nice wed May 14 A nice day I ironed we had a halling be from Elgin to day th May 15 A nice day I baked bread called on old grandma Orriel a little while Fri May 16 A nice day I am very tired so much cooking every day 4 men all this week 6 with Father & Wallace sat May 17 A nice day the wind raised pretty high brought a rain is raining very hard this eve Father & Mother went to Wadena this afternoon Wallace planted (rabe?) to day sun May 18 A very warm day I went over to the girls took them some strawberry plants we had a fearful rain last
