13. Holocaust ************************ the dust laden air. Impalpable dust it was, product of disintegration, dust that settled rapidly to the ground through the thin air that had almost disappeared. Then the setting sun glared starkly through the twisted members of the old tower. * * * * Long afterwards, the descendants of Adman on the earth looked upon the moon with powerful instruments and pondered over the cause of the mighty craters that covered its face.
