And he said: "The Acceptors, that is, the Fatalists, knew it was destinied, after what I foretold them, that none would ever follow us into the Future and they are well-named. They accepted it as Gospel. So I reckon we're safe." Again, the sun was sinking in a bank of amber-touched huss as Myron continued walking with Alora in his arms. And quite suddenly, Alora said: "But what about the Non-Acceptors. won't they interfere? . . . " Myron chuckled. "Then?" he exclaimed and held her closer. "Don't worry, little girl; they won't think it worth-while; and when they do, it will be too late by several scores of years, for they'll be licked before then. "The ancient records say so!. . . " * * * And so, once again, there came a new beginning . . , a new start, from Two destinied to lead a coming race of men in a finer world . . . a better world, for generation yet unborn, beneath an amber sun, where forevermore, the sun would be obliterated behind the eclipsing form of the Dark Star during Celestial sequences, as if to remind man of the folly of their utopian ancestors, that they might better understand their place and purpose in the cosmos.
