WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR RELOCATION PAYMENTS
To be eligible for relocation payments you must meet the following requirements: 
Home Owners and Tenants
1. You are eligible for moving expense payments if you occupy your home at the time negotiations are started for the individual property, and 
2. You are eligible for a payment to obtain replacement housing and for payment of certain incidental costs in purchasing a replacement dwelling if you have occupied your dwelling for at least ninety (90) days prior to the start of negotiations for the property, and 
3. You are eligible for an increased mortgage interest payment on the purchase of a replacement dwelling and an additional payment to obtain replacement housing if you have owned and occupied your dwelling for at least one hundred and eighty (180) days prior to the start of negotiations for the property.
Businesses
1. The owner or operator of a business is eligible for an actual, reasonable payment in moving his business; actual direct losses of tangible personal property as a result of moving his business; actual, reasonable expenses in search for a replacement location; or 
2. If the business is discontinued or if you will suffer a substantial loss of existing patronage you are eligible for a fixed business discontinuation payment in lieu of actual moving expenses and for payment of actual direct losses of tangible personal property as a result of the move.
