Work out practical wall thicknesses, etc. This would perhaps be better than V. A. or Coors method due to less path length spread. But still have Landau fluctuation. So not profitable to go very far in this direction at the expense of counting rate. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Geomagnetic Theory greatly needs (at least numerical) re-doing per Alpher's difficulty in getting meaningful results from Vallasta etc publications and per conversation with Hornbostel today.
