23 May 1955 Received word from Paul Larson that they (Borg-Warner) did not get the air force Project MX-1593 project contract! 6 June 1955 Spent 2 & 3 June in Washington D.C. at meeting of U.A.R.R.P. & T.P.R. and Committee on Small Rockets for the I.G.Y. - Bill Pickering of J.P.L./C.I.T. offered to give me 8 Lokis for trial rockoon flights this summer. Cognizant projects on Lokis in Office of Chief of Ordnance. Mr. H. G. Jones
