Total Count to date (i.e., up to 1 October) arrival in Thule. Rockoons : 5 successful of 5 tries. Loki : 3+1/2 successful of 5 tries. Two Stage: two failures. Reasons still obscure - need to study data. ---------------------------------- Good signal strengths - nearly solid records. Two cases of subcarrier frequency drifting to edge of band - but tape recorded ! & hope to rescue data when back at lab. N.R.L. - 4 Deacons -- only results thus far in aspect Optics division failures, auroral apparatus
