All of this seems to add up to the very great promise for a small magnetometer applicable to our high altitude measurements of the earth's magnetic field and the investigation of ionosphere currents, ring currents, and extra terrestrial effects -- (also eventually magnetic fields in interplanetary space and near the moon, etc. ! ! ------------------------------------ Should interest a good student in this and start gaining local competence looking toward the development of a practical device for the above purposes. ! ---- ---- ----
