7/11/1958 We have recently purchased and now have installed in the south portion of the old carpenter shop (B1) a new shake test facility. The basic table is a 1200 lb-force table. Frequency response ~ D.C. to 3000 c.p.s. Ling Electronic + M. B. Shaker. Cost ~ $52,000 plus shipping and installation = ~$54,000. Should be of very great value for all future satellite and rocket payload testing.
