8 August 1958 On Monday afternoon 4 P.M., the 4th, Abbie, Cynthia, Margo, Sarah and Tommy & I set out from 130 Ferson Avenue (Iowa City, Iowa) in our 1956 Ford Station Wagon headed for "camp" Arrived at camp (Peconic Bay) at 6 P.M. on Wednesday the 6th after pleasant trip. Stopped the first night near Chicago Heights, the second night at Donegal, Pennsylvania Weather -- warm & clear but not especially hot. Probably in 80's.
