10/30/1958 Professor E. P. T. Tyndall decided, this fall, to abandon further research since his recent two students Jason Ellis and Allen Franklin have both left and he does not feel inclined to take on any new research students since his obligatory retirement is only about two years away. This, temporarily at least, terminates solid state research here. His former research equipment was partly loaned to Ellis at North Texas State College (Denton, Texas) and partly to Coe College (J. Kasper) The remainder was discarded or redistributed to the various laboratories.
