9/23/59 Our I.G.Y. "Payload 16" has recently been rescheduled for 30 September (following the July failure of the previous attempt) But a recent Canaveral failure of a Jupiter firing resulted in the puncture of the fuel tank of the 19A rocket by shrapnel. Now rescheduled for 13 October 1959. G. Ludwig
