But I don't want them reprinted. What I want are "The Blind Spot, Moon Pool, Ship of Ishtar, and others of that type. The truth is and the editors won't admit it, that the Munsey Company won't let them have the rights to use those stories. Not for magazine publication, anyway. But they can be had for book publication; Munseys are afraid that a magazine reprinting would harm the book sales if it was ever published in book form. You should have seen Dick Wilson when the Philly Gendarme flashed his light on his as he lay on a park bench here. Was his face red! Seems the arm of the law was looking for some one repected in the park minus pants, and investigated when he saw Dick sprawls out on the bench, some distance away from the rest of us. This is the second column I have tapped out for this issue. Baltadonis lost the other copy, and it had to be done over again. And a swell time, too! Just as I was about to leave on a trip to Barnesboro, I get a card from him with the bad news. So I make him wait 'till my return. And to top the matter off, there is a very attractive girl visiting at our home, and I have the pleasure of escorting her around the city. And this damned thing takes up too much valuable time! And besides all that, I have been spending a lot of time taking photographs with my new candid camera. So that's all. The aforementioned member of the fair sex is awaiting me.
