Page Thirty -- S - F Collector --- Hunter's serial yarn is so-so. Wilson's "What I Think of Present Day Fan Mags" is very good. [[illegible]] is continually improving, this being the best issue to date. SCIENCE FANTASY MOVIE REVIEW -- Also issued by Marconette. The fourth issue deals with King Kong. Some very good illustrations are sprinkled throughout the issue by the editor, Marconette. A very neat little magazine. FANTASY NEWS and the SCIENCE FICTION NEW LETTER ---- Of the former twelve issues have appeared; while the latter has seen 40 issues. The last issue of the NL was brought out by Fred Pohl. FN has improved a great deal, and is easily on a par with the NL, if not better. PSFS NEWS --- The tenth issue features a four page increase. Which increase the editor hops to maintain. Articles for the issue are contributed by Whiteside, Hart, and Wilson. The rest being staff work. This seems to be the best issue yet. However, the anniversary issue will eclipse all by far. AMAZING WONDER TALES -- This new magazine is issued by John Giunta, a comparatively new fan. Frankly, we don't think much of the issue. Its editor contributes some good art work and also some very poor art work. A poor, twelve page cartoon is drawn by the editor. The beat story in the issue is by Robert G. Thompson, T.D. Taurasi has two mediocre tales of Bob and Koso in the issue. The hectographing, in spots, is good. However, on most pages, it is difficult to read. With the second issue, the title will be changes so SCIENTITALES and the method of reproduction will be changed to mimeograph. There are thirty pages in the first issue. Other artists in the issue are Mike Miranda and Louis Maurino.
