Apprenticeship Information Center to Open in Des Moines  - Without minority group members entering apprenticeship programs, there will be no minority journeyman craftsmen. To serve as an information clearing house will be the new Apprenticeship Information Center soon to open at 545-547 Sixth Avenue in Des Moines. Included on the Advisory Committee are representatives from LULAC, representatives of the Negro, Union representatives and several men from governmental agencies.
