I am writing this letter to confirm our telephone conversation of Wednesday, November 24, in which you accepted the invitation to be the guest speaker on the occasion of the testimonial in honor of Dr. Harry D. Harper, President of the Fort Madison Branch of the NAACP, February 12, 1972.
The Branch is hopeful of having the testimonial in honor of Dr. Harper in conjunction with the Founder's Day program.
I have advised Dr. Harper that you have accepted the invitation  to be their speaker and they were very delighted to hear of this.
I hope to see you at the annual board meeting in New York in January.
