It therefore appears to me, that all future contributions that are made from the several companies in Fort Madison, be made to the Fort Madison Branch, and that checks from the Branches checking account be forwarded so that proper credit may be given to the unit. This of course could not be accomplished unless the companies making the contributions would specifically designate their contributions as being to the NAACP and not to the special fund which would entitle them to deduction on the Federal Income Tax return.
