Page 14 TYCHO figure a mathematical number, the reciprocal of which the chances of getting the correct answer would be pure guess-work. On the next try, the question was answered correctly, and was, also, on the next seven tries. If that isn't indicative of telepathy, then I'm afraid nothing is. Of course, the whole experiment hinged on the fact that the receiver was in a hypnotic state and entirely oblivious of disturbing factors that would be sure to be present if he were conscious. His whole mind was concentrating on one thing; which was to interpret the other fellow's thoughts. We tried several more experiments along this same line, with similar results. Now I come to what I consider is even more interesting than the above telepathic experiments. I am referring to that much more difficult subject, clairvoyance. We had heard of some experiments conducted along this line, and we were hopeful of achieving similar or better results. In the following, I am going to refer to clairvoyance as the ability to project the mind from the body. The same subject that was used in the hypnotic experiments was used in these. This time, however, we were trying to see if we could separate the subject's mind from his body and make it go where we wished...fantastic as it may seem, the following bears out our theory fairly well in that every experiment we attempted, met with phenomenal success. The procedure was simple; after being put to sleep, the subject was told to relax completely and to obey all commands given and not try to fight. Then he was told to let his mind depart from his body. In a few seconds, he said that it had been done and it was then suggested that he go out of the room and into the hall. That is; his mind was to go out into the hall, his body was with us all the time. He was busily describing what was happening outside the door, when it was suggested why he not be allowed to travel further. He was asked if he could do it, and he answered very definitely that he could and would if given the chance. Now, one of the fellows has his home down in Florida, and it was suggested that he be sent there to describe the locale of this place. He arrived at the place instantly, and was very quick to respond to all suggestions given him. He was then told to describe his surroundings. The look on the face of the fellow whose home was being described gave evidence that the subject was getting accuracy in his description. The kind of house, color, size and many minute details were given readily and quickly by the subject. This went on for quite awhile and when the subject awakened, he could not remember anything that had transpired. The fellow whose house had been "visited", was perfectly amazed at the accuracy of the description. And delighted as well... We did many of these clairvoyance experiments with the same phenomenal results. He was sent to North Dakota, Minnesota, Florida, California, and a few other states. I know personally, the accuracy of his statements, as I sent him to my own home and the results were just as the others had said they were -- astounding! Now, there are several aspects to this experiment, and the question whether the subject was actually present mentally at the places mentioned or
