January 29, 1986 Dear Friends - Thank you for the sea-going Stanbys of your Christmas card. Or is that only the Hudson or Lake Champlain? After I got your little note about the Engels going to Florida I sort of looked for them to stop by Rust on their way home or something. We're in sights of the Memphis to Atlanta highway so I kept hoping. It's be a supreme delight to see them. Now the Moore's as actually coming the 12th of February and that will be wonderful indeed! They're bringing Jonathan as a baby sitter hasn't sprung up yet. I told Commission on Social Concerns here that they're coming and they immediately set about planning a fellowship evening for them at the church. (I'm the only white member of Asbury Methodist.) John and Betty are bringing a tape recorder along and I'm to record a race relations talk for their postponed Race Relations Sunday. I've never been recorded. I
