Saving...
No, I didn't weaken - I'm not working, (exactly?). But one day Mr. Jackson dropped in and I dared ask him how to put my steel shelves (more like tin). He brought a (frat?) brother and they spent time. It was all so valuable I decided I'd give him a morning a week, so I could keep that friendship. The library family is such a sweet one I'd hate to get estranged. I do some book selection and keep the acquisitions desk cleared of catalogs and brochures (I put them in a pile in the corner). This is Christmas Eve. I just put out the candles, the 15 inch, pencil-thin tapered(?) go fast but I love them. the silver holders are some Donna O'Brien gave me. All these years in [??] I haven't had candles for them, but this fall Gold?? in Memphis had them, so remembrances of Donna are floating around again, stronger than ever. Be good to yourselves! May
