Saving...
June 7 I came up to 3rd floor laundry to use their machine, but Esther F. already had loaded it hard and inserted the coin, so here sits May, happy about it, in the rose parlor, windows open on a nice day, enjoying again the Christmas picture of your [illegible?]. If I'd only brought up a good piece of stationery and my clipboard. This letter is a month old, but I still have several left. The news is the same, except the trip to Minnie's taken and my alyssum - viola - phlox doing fine. I cut off [illegible] bouquets to fit a dispenser of liquid medicine and give bouquets! Thank you for the picture and good letter! I hope sometime to have enough courage and ego ^[Or maybe I need less ego, as I'm so vain pictures don't come up in my hopes.] to have a good picture taken. I do so enjoy getting pictures! It's 4 o'clock and Esther will soon be done. I moved into the hallway as three good pals took over the parlor to finish their jigsaw puzzle. I did get my clipboard and a piece of candy for a snack. Nothing special -- some hard stuff that's been in my box since Christmas 1990! ....The wash is in and foaming. Tonight I'm off to enjoy Ruth's TV -- we'll see
