Special to Michigan State University --3 The immediate answer to these and the myriad of other problems is two-fold: faculty and funds. Toward these ends, the RILEEH committee has pledged itself to the collection of $10,000 to finance exchange students and group. as well as cultural, exchanges: to purchase library and audio-visual materials; to provide special education assistance, and to develop student loan programs. RILEEH has also invited the participation of every student and faculty and staff member on the U of I campus to give his financial support or his instructional and advisory service. Applications for federal funds are ready for submission, but no matter when these funds become available, the groundwork for bringing Rust and LeMoyne out of the educational doldrums will have been laid by volunteers who are willing to "go it alone" if necessary. -30-
