U.S. GOVERNMENT OFFICES In Iowa City there are a large number of city, county, state, and federal government agencies that are here to meet our needs. The next time you have a problem look through the lists and call up the office you think might apply. Even if they can't help you they can probably refer you to someone who can. Look in the telephone book under: Coralville, city of "C" pages Iowa City, city of "I" pages Johnson County "J" pages United States government "U" pages Examples: Under Iowa City, is the Animal Shelter, Bus System, Highway Patrol, Water and Sewer Troubles, Tennis Center. Under Johnson County is the Drivers Licence Department and the Health Department. RIGHTS LINE 353-4326 A 24 hour 7 days a week telephone service which accepts problems and questions about student rights and freedoms, investigates the problem (within 12 hours), and follows it up with an answer or further investigation if problem needs legal attention. A tape is made of the call for the files if the caller wants it. My check was cashed, and I got a confirmation notice from them assuring me the shipment would be made. But I never got it. I called the company and they told me they'd shipped it via United Parcel Service. A search on the item apparently hasn't done any good. Can you? -K.O.
