Friendship Relevance Around Togetherness Education & Revolving Now Interesting To Your LIFE RUSH WEEK To allow you to take a closer look at the Greek System at The University of Iowa, we would like to invite you to spend some time touring the various fraternities prior to the start of the academic year. This year Rush Week will be held from August 31 through September 4. During this period you will your all of the chapter houses and meet the men who compose the fraternities. If you are interested in applying for Rush Week, please fill out the application form enclosed. Upon receipt of your application you will receive a detailed schedule of your Rush Week activities. SUMMER RUSH Summer Rush is held during the summer months and gives you an informal opportunity to get to know the fraternities prior to Rush Week. In fact, if you make up your mind, you may even pledge a a fraternity during the summer, although you are under no pressure to make an early decision. If you are not contacted by one of the fraternity rush chairmen and are interested in more information, please drop a line to: Fraternity Affairs Office, Student Activities Center, Iowa Memorial Union. INFORMAL RUSH Rushing is a year-round experience at The University of Iowa. If you feel that you are not interested in the Greek System during Rush Week or the summer, you may apply for Informal Rush after you arrive at the University at the Office of Fraternity Affairs. We encourage you to take part in our rushing program and sincerely hope that you will find that the Greek System has something relevant to offer to you. See you next fall!
