Bond.— MARVEL [NEW COLUMN] SCIENCE STORIES in the forcoming issue will contain material by Nils O. Sonderland, Arthur J. Burks, Selan K. Echols, Gabriel Wilson, and Omar Gwinn.— Editor Erisman says style and policy would return largely to that of the first issue of MSS. Cover will be by Scott, black and white work by Carlson. Erisman says that nothing is definite on DYNAMIC SCIENCE STORIES at this writing. — THRILLING WONDER STORIES has scheduled complete novels for the coming year, wherein the most popular authors in stf will be represented. novels by Wellman, Kummer, Simak, Jacobi and Williamson. The above yarns will be published in the special stf section of TWS. Art work for the tales will be by such artists (?) as Brown, Finlay, Wesso and Paul. The Burrough's boys, John Coleman and Hulbert, have done a sequel to their first TWS yarn entitled THE LIGHTNING MEN.— Gordon A. Giles will continue his "Via" series.— Margulies says that the series of Pete Manx, time-traveller, will be continued, if you so wish.— Speaking of series, TWS is soon planning to publish Robert Arthur's streamlined interplanetary story, SONG AT TWILIGHT, featuring the first in the exploits of the Andy Hardy family of the future.— Ray Cummings has written a story based on the cover of the Tenth Anniversary Issue of TWS, calls it SHADOW GOLD, it is slated for early publication.— Cover of the January STARTLING STORIES will be worked by that superb "hack" artist, none other than the one and only, yep, you guessed it, Brown. Anyway it is a scene from Edmond Hamilton's book-length novel THE THREE PLANETEERS.— The Hall of Fame story for the November STARTLING will be Stanley G. Weinbaum's first stf story: A MARTIAN ODYSSEY.— OFW
