Saving...
TBTN meeting #4 page two us they really don't want to change that, their guilt isn't felt "that badly". Yet the idea of looking for other sources of money was still a good idea. We decided that we would approach women's businesses that we knew weren't struggling/Like Buc's, Somebody Goofed, Amelia's etc. And see where we were. Talk of money really began because Carol gave us the info about T-shirts. (See attached sheet) We decided on 30 white shirts from sears sizes 2-4X and @120 white shirts form Sherry King all shirts would be cotton. Then we would take all the shirts and dye them our selves. Then return to Sherry Kings to be logo'd. This way we can supprt the women's businesses and also provide shirts in all sizes. ADMITTEDLY were all leery of dying [[underlined]] all those shirts [[underlined]], but Carol and Amy assured us that it would be a breeze. (hmmm) Also the decision to go ahead and commit ourselves to T-shirts and money and all that was a little frightening, like what if they don't sell!!!!!?????) Oh well. In light of the T-shirt decision we need a logo, our only advice is one which has no women's bodies on it. By this time we were tired. (Actually we wee tired to begin with 5:30 on Friday is hard!!) So we looked at the contact sheets we had accrued and Amy (nice person that she is) said she would compile them. and we would look at them on Wednesday. The statement o f Purpose has yet to be created and we all prioritized it for the next meeting. The next meeting is wednesday at 5:30 at the same place. We got a lot done at this meeting.
