Women take back the night Iowa City, Iowa College Green Park Oct. 23, 1982 Program begins at 7:30 -- please arrive earlier The focus of this rally will be on a "speak out" -- the opportunity for women, by offering their experiences and feelings about violence in their lives, to break the silence that isolates us from one another and to be able to rely on the strength provided by other women who share their anger. Bring flashlights and percussion instruments. Dress warmly. The rally will be singed for the hearing impaired. Transportation available, including for wheelchairs. Childcare provid To arrange for transportation and childcare, to order T-shirts, or [illegible] information, call 353-6265 from 5-9 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
